English spelling can be mysterious, but however you pronounce Ouray, it’s still spectacularly beautiful, “The Switzerland of America,” a short, windy, gorgeous shot north of Durango.
You can literally see the town nestled in the surrounding mountains. Other cool stuff too. Too cold for a dip in the hot springs, but one of these days.
